About EU-DK Support


EU-DK Support is a network of Danish public counsellors. The purpose is to support the Danish participation in EU-programmes regarding research, innovation, culture, and business development. The network was established in 2013 as an initiative in the innovation strategy of the Danish Government. The counseling of EU-DK Support is free of charge, and they support all types of entities, from knowledge- and research institutions, small and large companies to public actors and NGOs.

Simon Kollerup   

Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs                                                

Minister of Business, Industry and Financial Affairs from June 27 2019. Member of the Danish Parliament for the Social Democrats, elected in North Jutland's constituency from 15 September 2011. Master's degree in political science from the University of Copenhagen from 2009-2011.

Mette Fjord Sørensen

Director of Competences and Knowledge, Confederation of Danish Industry                            

Mette Fjord Sørensen is the Director of Competences and Knowledge at Confederation of Danish Industry. She is educated in political science from Aarhus University and has formerly worked as the head of science and education at The Danish Chamber of Commerce.

Stine Jørgensen

Deputy Director of Ministry of Research and Education

Stine Jørgensen has been the Deputy Director General at the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science since 2018. She is PhD in social security law.

Bernd Biervert

Head of Unit, The European Commission's Directorate-General for Research and Innovation                                     


Bernd Biervert is head of unit in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. Bierverts area is “ecological and social transitions” and he has been involved in the work with the European Green Deal.

Annemarie Munk Riis

Deputy Director General, Innovation Fund Denmark

Annemarie Munk Riis is the Deputy Director General at Innovation Fund Denmark. She has a master in economics from University of Copenhagen. Annemarie is co-founder at the IRIS Group Aps and former Head of Division for at The City of Copenhagen.

Signe Nepper Larsen

Deputy Director General at the Danish Nature Agency                             

Master's degree in biology from the University of Copenhagen in 1994. Deputy Director of the Danish Nature Agency since August 1 2016. From 1995-2016 employed in the Water and Environment Division in the consultancy firm COWI with tasks within water and nature management and environmental assessment. External associate professor and external examiner in biology at the Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen.

Jacob Bundsgaard

Mayor of Aarhus Municipality and Chairman of the National Association and Interest Organisation of the 98 Danish Municipalities.

Member of the Danish Social Democratic party since 1998. Elected member of Aarhus City Council since 2002. Mayor of Aarhus since 2011. In 2016 he was elected as the Vice-chairman of The National Association and Interest Organisation of the 98 Danish Municipalities, before being elected Chairman in march 2018.

Marie Just Mikkelsen

CTO and Co-founder of Samplix                          

Marie Just Mikkelsen is CTO and co-founder at Samplix. Marie has formerly been the CTO in Estibio and associate professor at University of Southern Denmark.

Mikkel Kongsfelt

CEO and Co-founder, RadiSurf                                                                            

Mikkel Kongsfelt is CEO and co-founder at the company RadiSurf. RadiSurf was founded in 2015 as a spin-off company based on a technology developed at Aarhus University. Mikkel has a PhD in nanoscience and chemistry from Aarhus University.

Torsten A. Andersen

Deputy Director, the Danish Business Authority                                                                             

Torsten Andersen is Deputy Director General for business development at the Danish Business Authority. He has previously worked for the EU-Commission and the Confederation of Danish Industry. He holds a degree in political science from Aarhus University and a M.A. in European politics and administration from the College of Europe in Brugge.
